Oak Creek Golf Club, an original Ault Clark design, opened as a private country club in the early 2000’s. In 2013, Toll Golf acquired the club and redesigned the course as a more golfer-friendly public course. After two years of renovations, including a new clubhouse, the new Oak Creek was opened Memorial Day weekend in 2015. The club shares the grounds with the historic Bowieville Manor, built-in 1820. An old tobacco barn still stands on the 4th hole and allows golfers to drive thru the historic structure on the way to the fairway.

Nestled in the shadows of our Nation’s Capital, this Ault Clark masterpiece is the jewel of the Oak Creek community. Oak Creek is known for its plush bermudagrass fairways and undulating bentgrass greens. There are six different tee boxes from 4500 to 7000 yards that provide a challenge to everyone from the beginner to the most accomplished players.

A tradition we started last year at the DMV Invitational, spearheaded by our Lady Captain, Dr. Kamanze. We would like to continue the giving spirit by supporting our caddies in Africa. These caddies are just as competitive and some of them end up as pros. Unfortunately, most cannot afford basic golfing gear or equipment. We are making a kind request that as you pack for the great tournament, please pack that extra shirt, shoes, clubs, balls hat etc. We will collect these items with the goal of getting them to Kenya as we embark on the exciting Diaspora Tournaments in December. Let’s put a SMILE on those someone’s face. Thank you for your kind support.

Keeping up with the Olympics theme (Olympics village), we’ve made arrangements with Crown Plaza of Washington DC to create our own DMV Invitational Village. To start making reservations under the group block online, click the image or direct URL link below
Additional Guestroom Details:
*. Rates will be available 2 days prior and 2 days after the Event Dates, subject to availability of guest rooms at the time of reservation. Online and calls made to the reservation department will only have the option to create reservations on the contracted dates (08/30/2024 - 09/02/2024). Any nights made outside the contracted dates must be booked through the hotel directly
* A credit card is needed as a guarantee to hold the room.
* All rooms are non-smoking with complimentary parking and Wi-Fi.
* Check-In is at 3:00pm and check out is 11:00am.
* Incidentals are $100.00 per guestroom / Authorized at check-in with guestroom rate and tax.
* Reservations must be cancelled 24 hours prior to the intended date of arrival to avoid cancellation charges (one night's room plus tax).
* The debit/credit card must be presented with a valid ID at check-in. No pre-paid or loaded cards will be accepted.
